This was SO SO fun- Can’t you tell? And c’mon, have you EVER seen siblings so sweet to each other?!
I can only hope my kiddos will be this sweet and well- behaved, especially during photographs (and extra especially for the ‘get-that-darn-camera-outta-my-face’ photographer’s kids!)

I had a blast with this beautiful family of four (almost 5!) and am so looking forward to photographing the new bambino when he or she arrives in the spring.
But for now, we will all have to wait to know the sex AND the name!
It’s a good thing you guys are so dang sweet- I can forgive you for this terrible secret for now…

This one is close to my heart because Kim and Bryce have been friends for several years, and because we prayed for sweet baby Isaac and his health from the beginning.
And as you can see- he is a very healthy , sweet, big boy! We love him already and can wait to get a small group reunion together with all the kiddos!!- – seriously, what started out as just little Ty has turned into, what?- 15??
How are we even that old? haha, love y’all. xoxo

Confession: This new Mr. and Mrs. actually got married this summer. Early this summer. And they’ve seen these images. oops.
I’ve been so behind on blogging that I’m literally blogging sessions months after galleries are complete.
But with two babies (ok, a toddler and a baby), and a hubs trying desperately to finish his dissertation and lots of other people that I love and want to be around, the blog just isn’t feeling the love these days.
Something has to give, right? Or in the words of the very wise Nikki Rhodes, when you’re me, *everything* has to give. And that’s ok.

You may remember my sweet friends from this session, which was clearly pre-baby. Luckily, the jumping didn’t shake baby “G” up too bad- he is just as sweet as can be. And sleepy. Man, he was sleepy:)
It is such a treasure to have good friends and community, and the parents of this baby are some of the folks in the world that Jeremy and I are most thankful for.
Nothin’ but love, even though you moved forever away.
I’ll be ok.

Corrie not only went to college at the same place I did (Axe ‘em, Jacks!), but our girls are only months apart and same with our 2nd children, also both little boys. The only difference is that when I had my 2nd, I had one little boy and she had TWO!! All I can say is, Corrie is a saint.
But look at the faces of these three little ones- they’ll melt you in a second. F ‘real people.

It’s CHRISTMAS season already!! I know, I can’t believe it, either. I’m not even done with weddings. And I am not even close with the blogging. AND, my computer crashed last week. I just got it back today. (side note- I’m switching to a MAC like, yesterday. If anyone wants to give me tips on what it’s like to go from a PC to a MAC, I’m all ears). But I digress.

Oh man, I think I forgot how hot it *still* is in Houston. or maybe just how humid. These poor kiddos were hating us literally 5 minutes into our “christmas” session. ha!
Even through the heat and tears, I really do adore this family. If you’ve kept up with the blog even a little bit, you probably recognize them from last Christmas and from about 6 months ago when they had their 2nd bambino, Luke. Repeat clients are SOOOO much fun because we become friends, (actually, I was friends with this fam before, but that story is for another day)…
oh shoot! It’s time to feed Everett, hold on… nevermind, I’ll just shut up and get straight to the pictures…
